高橋竹山
三歳の時にかかった麻疹が原因で失明。十五歳の時から三味線を習い始め、地方巡業に出た。戦後は津軽民謡の大御所である成田雲竹と出会い、数多くの民謡に伴奏づけをして世に送り出す。独立後は独自の芸域を切り開いて津軽三味線の名を全国に広く知らしめた。
